About OSRSPlan
Most OSRS calculators tell you how much experience you need. That is the easy half. The part that decides what you actually do is the other half: which training method, at what price, for how many hours. OSRSPlan puts those in one place and prices them against the live Grand Exchange, so you can compare methods side by side.
Where the numbers come from
- Item prices
- The OSRS Wiki real-time prices API, refreshed every few minutes. Each calculator shows how recently its prices updated.
- Your levels
- The official Old School RuneScape hiscores, looked up on request when you enter a display name. We do not store the name or the result.
- Training rates
- Experience per action and actions per hour are maintained by hand and checked against the game. Every calculator carries a dated update history so you can see when its numbers last changed and what changed.
Why the update history exists
Game updates quietly invalidate training rates, and a calculator that has not been touched in two years looks exactly like one that was checked last week. Publishing every change, with the date, is the only honest way to tell those apart. If a number here is wrong, tell us and we will fix it.
