OSRS Firemaking Calculator
Logs, pyre logs or Wintertodt to your Firemaking goal: how many logs you need, what they cost at live Grand Exchange prices, and how long it takes.
Set experience directly to plan past level 99, up to 200M.
Burning a log consumes it, so every row here is a cost. Logs are bought at the instant-buy price and nothing comes back. Making pyre logs is the exception: it produces an item, sold at the instant-sell price less the 2% Grand Exchange tax, so that method can come out ahead. Making a pyre log and burning one are different actions. Making gives 5 experience a dose of sacred oil, so 10 to 20 a log, and works at level 1 whatever the log; burning one on a funeral pyre at Mort'ton gives the much larger figure at the level shown, and burns a set of shade remains with it, which is priced in. A pyre ship is the Barbarian Training boat, built from an ordinary log and a set of chewed or mangled bones at the level shown in both Firemaking and Crafting. The bones are not traded, so the log is the cost. Jatoba and blisterwood logs are not traded, so those rows show no cost. Wintertodt is scored on points rather than actions, so it plans time only. Method data checked against the OSRS Wiki on 18 September 2026. Prices are live.
