Costs are net of what you sell. Each method buys its ingredients at the instant-buy price and sells what it makes at the instant-sell price, less the 2% Grand Exchange tax. Potions are priced as 4-dose, decanted before sale. Where the product is worth more than its ingredients the cost shows as a profit. Rates are best case. Potions assume 2,500 an hour with quick banking; herb cleaning assumes 10,000 herbs an hour by hand, and the auto-clean option is about a third of that. Making your own unfinished potions is not included. The Mastering Mixology calculator plans the minigame, with the herbs it takes and the resin it pays.
