OSRS Thieving Calculator
Pickpockets, stalls, chests and Pyramid Plunder to your Thieving goal: how many thefts each takes and how long, with a rate for every target.
Set experience directly to plan past level 99, up to 200M.
Thieving costs nothing, so this page shows no money at all. A theft gives a random mixture rather than one item, so there is nothing to put a price on and the table gives you level, experience and thefts instead. Every target has a rate. The wiki prints one for blackjacking, Knights of Ardougne, stealing artefacts, Varlamore valuables, Pyramid Plunder and two chests. The others are estimates, marked with a ~. A pickpocket's comes from its chance of success at each level and how long a failure stuns you, a stall's or a chest's from how often it restocks, and a door's from its chance to unlock. They count no time eating, banking or dodging guards, so read them as the top of what you will see. Method data checked against the OSRS Wiki on 18 September 2026. Prices are live.

Every change to this calculator
- Corrected blackjacking: bearded bandits, Pollnivnian bandits and Menaphite thugs each use the rates for their own levels, and villagers no longer get blackjacking rates
- Corrected stealing valuables to 45 experience each Stealing artefacts, Pyramid Plunder and the Chambers of Xeric thieving room now plan time only, as none gives a fixed amount an action. An artefact is 750 experience plus 40 times your Thieving level.
- Added an experience an hour for every target Pickpockets, stalls, chests and doors that showed no rate now show one, marked ~ where it is an estimate. Corrected the north East Ardougne door to 3.8 experience and the Magic axe hut door to level 32.
